So I have the YSL envelope bag in a size medium, black on black hardware (TBH, it's been a while and I don't remember the size, it looks like a small size to me but I recall my SA telling me last week that the envelope bag sizing runs small and he said I actually got the medium lol) and I'm actually planning on getting the college bag in a size small, white with gold hardware.

If I had to choose a different hardware, I'd go for antique silver. It's stunning on YSL bags. I'm not sure about the difference quality wise, I have YSL . I have the YSL collage bag in the Large size with black hw and the new medium Chanel Boy bag in gold hw. Here are my comments: YSL: doesnt go crossbody. It has everything i look for in a bag. Chevron quilting, lightweight, nice classic logo, antique aged hardware, mix between elegant and edgy, exterior back pocket, leather piece on shoulder strap and a chunky chain strap that is not too long. Just perfect.
It has classic elements with the chevron stitching and iconic ysl logo but looks modern as well because of the distressed leather and chunky chain.
