The red triangle is on the bezel. It is a pretty worn non-working Rolex but neat nonetheless. I was told by a jeweler that it was 1974 but that didn't make sense because it only said 401,010.
The original design probably called for a red triangle at 12:00 similar to other Submariner models from the same period.
