Partway through the 6538’s run, the Cal. 1030 also became the first of the brand’s calibers to gain official chronometer status, winning certification after enduring the rigorous testing from the COSC. With the exception of a few movements from the 3100 series, the only other movements the Swiss brand uses are several chronograph movements, the 9001 from the Sky-Dweller collection, and the 2236, which is found in a number of women’s watches.
