Whatever. If you’re buying based on these photos a floating m is the least of your worries. If the “m” is a bit raised, that’s called a “floating m” and a lot of fake Submariners have that. However, although relatively uncommon, that is a real dial variant! So if you already have concerns about a Rolex you’re looking at, a “floating m” .
