For an in-the-know subset of watch lovers, worn-in character beats pristine perfection. These guys find charmingly beat-up watches cooler and more stylish, like a favorite faded pair of. I'm all for wearing your watch and not babying it - but some of the pics in here are just plain abusive (digging through the dirt?). When I'm doing something really dirty or messy, I'll strap on a G-Shock. No sense in pointlessly beating up on a watch costing several thousand $.
